Dr. Owusu-Boahene grew up in New Zealand where she completed her dental training at the University of Otago Faculty of Dentistry. She enhanced her clinical experience as a visiting clerk in the Department of Dental Specialties at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She later joined a busy practice in Andover; a small town nestled in the English countryside about 70 miles from London.

 

After moving to the United States Dr. Owusu-Boahene completed the process for obtaining US licensure. This included an additional 3 years of dental training at New York University's School of Dentistry where she was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society in recognition of excellence in scholarship and character.

Dr. Owusu-Boahene returned to Maryland and joined the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry as a part-time faculty member where she continued her lifelong interest in providing care to the Special Needs Community. She then founded RB Dental with the goal of partnering cutting edge technology with compassionate patient care. She brings her unique experience and training in New Zealand, UK and USA to her work.
